If you are using testuity.com to take an IQ test, either paid or free version, or you are giving us feedback on our services, or just visiting our website, this Privacy Policy applies to you. This Policy contains information about the types of personal data we may collect, why we collect them and how we use it. Please study this Policy carefully prior to browsing our Website and before each transaction. By making any use (such as access, viewing, browsing, transmission, temporary or non-temporary storage, etc.) of our Website, the services or functions offered on it and making any transaction in our online store in any way, through any platform or device, you acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood this Policy.

If you provide us with personal information about other people, or if others give us your information, we will only use that information for the specific reason for which it was provided to us. By submitting the information, you confirm that you have the right to authorize us to process it on your behalf in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We will not use or share your information or any information you provide to us with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Types of Data We Collect

1. Contact details

Your first name, last name, age and email address.

2. Financial information

When you are using a credit card in order to make a payment, we collect the four last digits of the card number, the cardholder’s name and the expiration date of the card. When you are making a payment via PayPal, we collect the first name, last name and email address connected with the PayPal account. Please note that both Stripe or Paypal might allow or require that you use other payment methods, such as Google Pay or Apple Pay, depending on your location and preferences. Note that although we have access to this financial data, we do not process nor store it. The storage and processing of this data is carried out by third parties, namely PayPal and Stripe. We are not responsible in any way for the use that these third-parties make of your data. You can consult their policies on their websites.

3. Data we collect automatically.

We may automatically collect information about you when you use our website, some of which can potentially be understood as personal data. B. Data relevant to your use of our website Your URL clickstreams (the path you take through our site), products/services viewed, page response times, download errors, how long you stay on our pages, what you do on those pages, how often, and other actions.

4. Special categories of data and children’s data

We don’t collect any data about you revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade-union membership, genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning sex life or sexual orientation, except when we have your explicit consent, or when we have to comply with the law.

Processing your data is necessary for a contract to be formulated and executed with us (for the provision of services / products or otherwise), or because such information is necessary before entering into that contract.

Existing Customers:

If you have been our customer in the past, we may communicate with you via email, in order to inform you about services / products similar to the ones you showed interest in, which we think you may like (read more bellow, at the section Promotional emails)

Legitimate interests

Processing your data is necessary for our legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of a third party, provided those interests are not outweighed by your rights and interests. These legitimate interests are:

How We Protect Your Data

The website and online shop testuity.com is operated according to applicable EU legislation and it stores your personal data with safety. We have physical and electronic procedures (technical and organizational measures) to secure and protect the information we collect and process. We only allow controlled and limited access to personal data that we may have collected and stored. When using a third party to process your personal data on our behalf or when a third party is a ‘joint data controller’ with regards to your personal data, we take steps to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected as outlined in this Privacy Policy. Furthermore, we do not have access to payment transactions, as they are fulfilled by trusted third parties, which are well equipped to safeguard your financial data.

Your Rights

1. You have the right to access the information we hold about you. You can contact us and we shall inform you about:

We can deny your request if such processing is necessary for us and you to enter into a contract or perform our obligations arising out of such contract, or when such processing is authorized in law or when you have provided explicit consent to such processing. Please note that exercising this right does not equal to an obligation on our behalf to not show advertisements at all. Currently, we do not have such functions installed at our website.

4. You have the right to ask us to directly transfer your data to another service, as long as it is technically feasible or to provide you a copy in a common machine-readable format. Please note that if such data also contain personal data about another person, we may elect not to include such data in our deliverables.

5. You have the right to be ‘forgotten’ (i.e. to ask us to erase your personal data). All you have to do is ask and we will delete your data unless we have another legal reason to hold your personal data (such as a legal claim or a regulatory requirement).

In the latter case, it may take us up to two additional months to address your request, but we will let you know if that is the case within 30 days of the receipt of your initial request.

Location of Processing and Storage of Data

The personal data we collect is processed at our offices and servers situated in the EU and in any data processing facilities operated by the third parties identified below.

You agree to the transfer, storing or processing of your data by us, by submitting your personal data to us. If your information is transferred or stored outside of the EU or the EEA in this way, we will take steps to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

As a general rule, we will only keep your personal data for as long as it is necessary in order to provide you with our services unless we are required by law to keep them for an extended time. Any personal data stored by us will be deleted within 5 years of its collection. Some of the data stored in cookies and similar technologies can be retained for even shorter periods of time. We may, however, keep your personal data for a longer period, in order to exercise or defend a legal claim or in case we are obliged by a legal provision to do so.
